Benesch Announces New Grand Island Office, Project Manager


Grand Island, Nebraska June 2014 – As a result of continued growth, Alfred Benesch & Company has expanded its engineering team with the opening of a new office in Grand Island, Nebraska. Located in the Downtown Center at 308 N. Locust, this new office strengthens the firm's Nebraska presence that includes offices in Lincoln and Omaha.

 

Benesch has also added a seasoned Project Manager in Grand Island. Tim Golka, PE, brings nearly 15 years of industry experience to the Benesch team. He specializes in transportation and roadway design. His experience includes work for both public and private clients and has involved coordination with a variety of stakeholders including municipalities and the Nebraska Department of Roads.

 

Prior to joining Benesch, Golka was the lead roadway design engineer for projects including Antelope Valley in Lincoln, NE, Buffalo Bill Avenue in North Platte, NE, Highway 34 and N Road in Aurora, NE, and 25th Street in Norfolk, NE. Additionally, he has provided roadway and municipal design engineering for clients including the Nebraska Department of Roads and Cities of Grand Island, Lexington, Hastings, Ogallala, Lincoln and St. Paul.
