Kansas DOT Bridge Inspections

State of Kansas

Benesch is proud of our long history of bridge inspections across the United States and abroad. Bridge inspections have been a core discipline at Benesch for over 30 years, during which time we have inspected tens of thousands of structures for DOTs, counties, cities, railroads, private owners and the DOD. Benesch staff includes prequalified team leaders with experience in routine, fracture-critical, element-level and underwater inspections. Benesch also provides non-destructive testing, scour assessments and emergency flood repairs.

Benesch inspects structures ranging in size, type, age and location. Our team inspects bridges, levees and ancillary highway structures. Beyond field work, Benesch supports our clients by providing load-rating analyses, data management and asset management services. The Benesch Team also serves in program management roles for several DOTs. Benesch partners with KDOT to provide quality control and quality assurance on the entire local bridge system of approximately 20,000 bridges.
