Currituck Community Park

This 637 acre multi-use campus is being developed by the County to serve as a regional commercial, educational, and recreational center. Benesch’s initial project scope included public input, stakeholder facilitation and master planning. Subsequent phases included grant writing, final design, and construction administration for Phase One and Two Improvements.

Phase One improvements included three sodded, irrigated, and lighted tournament level multi-purpose fields, playground, picnic shelters, walking trail, storm water wetland, parking and restrooms.

Phase Two improvements will included three sodded, irrigated, and lighted tournament level baseball/softball fields, picnic shelters, walking trail, skate park, hi-ropes course, parking, and a two-story restroom/press box/concession building.
