Benesch designed and provided full-time construction management and inspection for constructing retaining walls and repairing roadways and slopes as a result of flood damage along county roads. This project included constructing four different retaining walls and three reinforced soil slopes along mountainous roads throughout the County. Temporary shoring and phased construction will be utilized to maintain traffic during construction.
In addition to the walls, these projects involved roadway reconstruction, stormwater improvements, and guardrail installation. The Twin Spruce Road location involved repairing and armoring the bank along the South Beaver Creek. These projects are FEMA funded and required federal aid documentation and Buy America compliance.
