A new bypass connecting Lehigh Valley and Berks Counties was designed to alleviate local congestion. Benesch designed 3.75 miles of this four-lane arterial highway with services including alignment studies, design of 12 structures, traffic studies, signal design, environmental mitigation, public coordination and construction plan preparation. This project involved conventional drainage facilities that you would see for a roadway project—with an NPDES feature.
