Milwaukee, WI - February 2014 - The Daily Reporter, Milwaukee’s construction news publication, has named Three Bridges Park on the Hank Aaron State Trail a Top Project of 2013. This award honors projects that exceeded client expectations through innovation; showed excellence in planning, engineering, design and construction management; and provided long-term benefits to the community.

Benesch served as prime consultant in the design that transformed this abandoned brownfield into what is now Milwaukee’s largest park. This 24-acre land restoration project includes rolling hills, two miles of new multi-use path, three signature pedestrian bridges, a special valve-controlled stormwater management system and more. The project team will be recognized at the award ceremony in May and the project will be featured in a special upcoming publication of The Daily Reporter.

Three Bridges Park also recently received Project of the Year honors from the Wisconsin Women Transportation Seminar.
