Transportation Studies

Our guiding philosophy on infrastructure planning is to complete preliminary engineering with a final engineering perspective. We identify and fully address environmental impacts; we complete Intersection Design Studies so they are approved and need no further modification; we develop conceptual MOT plans that are effective and well thought out; and we create staging plans that are thorough and buildable. We think beyond the Phase I scope to anticipate potential Phase II challenges, and we work to identify and resolve them early on.

Planning projects are often defined by the level of support they get from the impacted community. Our Public Involvement Team understands how to build consensus by designing and implementing community involvement strategies that work. From project websites to public meetings, our staff can effectively communicate with local users to help them better understand the impacts.
