Since 1952, Benesch has been a partner to the Lincoln Airport (LNK) providing engineering services and consultation on countless projects. Benesch is currently working with the Airport on an additional five proposed airfield development projects. The proposed projects, utilizing funds provided by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under their Airport Improvement Program (AIP), will improve airport functionality and accommodate future airfield growth and development. The projects include general aviation (GA) area expansion and taxiway construction on the east side of the airport. In addition, Benesch will provide engineering services for the mill and overlay and lighting replacement on Runway 14/32; and assist with the rehabilitation of Runway 18/36, terminal ramp, and Taxiways Alpha, Golf, Papa, Juliet and Kilo.
